Complaints
If you have a complaint about Global Wealth Review or about our service, please contact us at corrections@globalwealthreview.com. We aim to acknowledge
your complaint within two business days and will do our best to resolve it within 14 days. You may also complain to any
applicable consumer protection authority.
Reading for free
Headlines, summaries and the evidence behind every article are free. Without an account you can read 5 full
articles a month in each title, and 10 once you sign in. Signing in needs only your email address: we send a link
that works once.
What we publish is reporting and analysis. It is not investment, legal or tax advice, and it is never a recommendation to
buy or sell anything. How we decide what counts as established, contested or asserted is set out on our
method page; corrections are listed on our corrections page.
Free trial
Every reader can try All-Access once, free, for 14 days. No card is needed. The trial ends by itself and you
return to the free plan; nothing is charged and there is nothing to cancel.
Paid subscriptions
Access to the paid subscription begins immediately after your payment is processed.
- Price. The price is the one shown on the subscribe page when you subscribe, in US
dollars, plus any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live.
- Renewal. Monthly plans renew every month and annual plans every year, on the same date, until you cancel. We
email you 7 days before an annual plan renews.
- Your South African cooling-off right (ECTA). If you are a consumer under the Electronic Communications and
Transactions Act 25 of 2002, you have the right to cancel this subscription within seven (7) days after you subscribe,
without any reason and without penalty. However, because the service gives you immediate access to our content, you will
lose this right if you start using the paid content during those seven days. If you wish to keep the cooling-off right,
please do not access the paid content until after the seven days have passed. To cancel, email subscriptions@globalwealthreview.com and we will refund
all payments made.
- EU and UK consumer withdrawal. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the law normally
provides a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract. However, for digital content that is made available
immediately, that right does not apply once you begin using it. By subscribing, you agree that we start supplying the
digital content at once and you acknowledge that you lose the statutory withdrawal right. Despite this, as a
customer-friendly measure, we give EU and UK consumers an additional cancellation right: you may cancel within 14 days of
purchase and receive a refund for the unused portion of your subscription (calculated pro-rata).
- Our voluntary refund policy and cancelling. Outside the cooling-off and additional EU/UK rights above, we offer
the following refunds:
- Annual plans: if you cancel within the first 30 days, we refund the unused part. After 30 days, no refund is
given.
- Monthly plans: we do not refund the month already started.
- Founding-price plans: the same rules apply.
If a refund is due, we will pay it within 14 days of your request. To request a refund, email subscriptions@globalwealthreview.com.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account page in two clicks. Cancellation
takes effect at the end of your current paid period (month or year). You keep full access until then and we will not
charge you again.
- Founding price. If you subscribed at a founding price, you keep it for as long as your subscription runs without a
break.
- Payment problems. If a payment fails we will tell you and try again. If it is still unpaid a few days later,
access returns to the free plan until it is settled.
- Price changes. A new price applies only from your next renewal, and we tell you at least 30 days before.
Teams, institutions and licences
Team seats, institutional seats and data licences are agreed by quote and invoice. The quote and its order form set the
terms for those plans; where they say nothing, these terms apply.
Sponsoring the brief
- What you buy. One clearly labelled sponsor message in the free edition of the daily brief, Monday to Friday, for
the weeks you book. Subscribers who pay for the full brief do not see sponsor messages. Each title opens to sponsors once
its brief reaches 5,000 confirmed readers.
- Price. $70 for every thousand confirmed readers per morning, with a minimum of $1,500 per title per week,
fixed when you book and shown on your invoice, plus any sales tax or VAT.
- Booking. Weeks start on a Monday, at least 14 days ahead and no more than 26 weeks ahead. Only one sponsor
appears in a title’s brief in any week.
- Payment. Abraxas Technologies (Pty) Ltd invoices each booking. A booking is confirmed once it is paid. If it is still unpaid 3
days before its week begins, the week is released and the invoice is cancelled; nothing is then owed.
- Cancelling. You can cancel a booking at no charge from your sponsor page up to 14 days before its week
starts. If you have already paid, the publisher reviews the refund and we tell you when it is made. Later cancellations are
by request.
- Your message. It must be accurate, link only to your own website, and must not look like our reporting, claim
our endorsement, promise investment returns or carry political advertising. Global Wealth Review does not carry advertising
for securities, tokens or crypto products. We may decline or hold a message that breaks these rules.
- Editorial independence. Sponsors never see, shape or approve what we report, and are treated exactly like any
other company in our coverage. If a story that morning is about you, your message is held back that day and we agree a
replacement day with you. Companies that share our ownership cannot buy sponsorship.
- Public record. Every sponsorship that runs is listed, by company and week, on our
ownership and interests page.
- Closing your account. You can close your sponsor account at any time from your sponsor page. Bookings that can
still be cancelled are cancelled; bookings about to run still run.
Using what we publish
Our articles, evidence tables and brief are for your own reading. Quoting a short passage with a link to us is welcome.
Republishing, reselling, bulk copying or using our content to train software needs a licence; ask subscriptions@globalwealthreview.com.
Your account
Keep access to your email address secure, because sign-in links are sent there. You can close your account at any time
from your account page; see our privacy notice for what that removes.
Our responsibility
We work hard to be accurate and we publish corrections when we are wrong, but we cannot promise that everything we publish
is complete or free of error, and we are not responsible for decisions you make based on it. Nothing in these terms limits
rights you have under the consumer law of the place you live.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and the courts of South Africa have jurisdiction over
any dispute about them. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer
law of that country, and you may also bring a claim in the courts where you live.
Changes and contact
If we change these terms we will post the new version here and, for subscribers and sponsors, tell you by email before it
applies. Questions about subscriptions or sponsorship: subscriptions@globalwealthreview.com. Corrections: corrections@globalwealthreview.com. Letters to the editor:
